Each year, I look forward to participating in the Innisfil Arts, Culture and Heritage Council’s Annual Autumn Art Show and Sale, an event that has become a cornerstone of the local art community. Hosted at the cozy and welcoming Innisfil IdeaLAB, this event is more than just an art show—it’s a gathering of creative minds, supportive locals, and a celebration of the vibrant culture that makes Innisfil unique.
A Warm and Inviting Setup
This past year, I set up my display around the fireplace at the IdeaLAB, creating a space that felt intimate and inviting. I brought along books, coloring activities for kids, keepsake mugs, and tea to add a personal and interactive touch to my booth. My Innisfil AI project was also on display, alongside cards and sketchbooks for sale, offering something for everyone who stopped by.
What makes this event so special is the support from locals who eagerly await the show each year. It’s heartwarming to see familiar faces and new visitors alike, all coming together to celebrate art and creativity.
Supporting Local Arts

- Townwide Art Posters: Imagine seeing local artwork displayed on posters throughout the town, celebrating our artists and bringing beauty to every corner of Innisfil.
- A Summer Art Festival: By the lake, with art installations, live painting, workshops, and performances—a celebration of creativity under the sun.
- A Bohemian Arts Party: A vibrant gathering where art, music, poetry, and creativity collide. A chance for the community to mingle, drink, and celebrate all things artistic.
- A Standing Painting Group: A group of artists that meet regularly to paint the town—literally. Capturing Innisfil’s beauty and charm through plein air painting sessions.
